Star Wars: First in the Galaxy

I spent my mornings like this—waking up at 1 or 2 in the morning to the sound of John Williams and an alarm that still reads, “Do or do not—there is no try.” Throwing on a Star Wars t-shirt and a pair of muddy construction boots to begin filming here. In a galaxy not so far away—Batuu. The new Star Wars land at Disney Parks. The sun peeked through the spires to welcome us each morning. And each night, the hum of droids and rebel transmissions sent us on our way. As a lifelong Star Wars super fan, this was my dream come true. And I knew that sharing that visceral feeling of stepping into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge was the perfect way to launch the new land.

We invited Star Wars super fans who had made an impact in their community to be the first to experience the new land, and prove that Galaxy’s Edge was chock full of Star Wars lore and authenticity no fan could pass up.
